i really liked the music in the film, though it sounded very familiar but i can't remember where else i've heard it. anyone got a clue?

I haven't even seen Happy End, but I saw a trailer.. and the music on the trailer (which I think is Händel, btw) is also the main score from the Kubrick film 'Barry Lyndon'.

shareJust an interesting side point regarding the soundtrack--it's also on the soundtrack for Joo Jin Mo's latest K-Drama tv series "Queen of the Game". There are a few other similarities between the movie and the tv series as well.

I've lived in Korea a while, and of all the Korean films I've seen this one is the most Kubrick-esque I've ever seen.
Whether the music was done as a HT to Kubrick or not, this superb movie is up to snuff.
