I'm sorry, I simply cannot believe a man like that would have anything to do with a filthy creature like Inez. I don't mean because she was white trash, I mean because she desperately needed a bath. I could see him being attracted to her if maybe he hosed her down in the yard first...

That's what he loved about her. She was such a contrast to what he's had to deal with all of his life.
