Why IP?


Yes I have been thinking. Why do they call him IP?

He's name is Jens Peter so it should be JP and not IP

Its not he's rang or anything.. so I have no idea why...

As a Dane i can answer that question vey simple...

simply in Denmark its normal to use I in the use of J in such Acronyms...

there is no real explanation... Of course in Danish IP sounds a Lot better than JP...

It's because in the older Denmark, "I" was used instead of "J", so his name was actually Iens and not Jens. My grandfather's name was Iens Peter too, so he was also called IP.
