Criminal Minds

I hope the producers of "Rejseholdet" gets a big fat cheque from the "makers" of Criminal Minds, since its obviously a copy of the general idea.

American television producers are very fast to demand payment if someone copies their work (which properbly is a copy of someone elses ideas anyways).

You've got to be joking. Unit one is nothing like that god-awful cliched garbage called "Criminal Minds". The two shows are totally different in approach and methodology. For starters, in Unit one we have a team of specialist, high-ranking detectives that focus on crime solving and not behavioral analysis. Criminal Minds is all intellectual guesswork about a criminals actions and behavior and doesn't concern itself with police procedure which Unit One does superbly. Unit one is also FAR MORE relistic than the forced and unrealistic rubbish in Criminal Minds. The "bouncing ball" dialogue and use of phony catwalk models in CM is a laughable joke.

If anything, Criminal Minds is a blatant ripoff of the great TV series "Millennium" which pioneered the "flashback" technique and focused on tracking serial killers.
