Is this EVER going to be released in the USA?

I've heard of this movie for several years and it has peaked my interest. But it persists in NOT being released in the USA. What is with that? Are there any plans to make it available in the USA? How much curiousity does an apparently quirky foreign film have to generate before someone decides there is a US market for it?

Guess you could say it is looking doubtful. Now almost a year since your post, there is still no indication on its imdb page of availability in the US.

I bought a copy on eBay from a seller in South Korea, it is a legal copy.
The only problem is the packaging is in Korean, but the movie is Region code 0 so it will play anywhere, it is in English and has English subtitles. It cost me $8.99 plus $5.99 shipping for a total of $14.98.
Another draw back is that the extras are useless unless you can read Korean, but the movie is just fine.
Take Care,
Michael

I think Universal owns the rights, so not too likely to ever receive a proper DVD release in the US. (Universal is really scaling back their back catalog in what I suspect will be a major push for online delivery through their parent company, Comcast).

The GOOD news is that it was released in Canada through Alliance; just go to Canada's Amazon.ca and you pick up a used copy for just a couple of bucks.
