The sound track

Does anybody know who does the song that's sung in the bar where Ellie picks up the store clerk? It has a line about "moving on"? The singer sounds uncannily like Titiyo to me.

Yeah, I Liked that song too. I watched it on IFC and I missed the beginning. I tried renting it and I could not find it. I am 12 and this is a great movie. I like the parts where sid comes onto peter and they make-out

does anyone know any information about how to track down or download the songs used in the movie? i've been searching like crazy, (especially for the song that plays as the credits are rolling), and have been unsuccessful. i was hoping someone else out there had better luck.

I was watching this movie last night...hoping I'd finally get lucky and find out what to look for for the songs...I hate that.
It makes me hate watching movies on IFC...occasionally a movie comes on with an awesome soundtrack, or at least one or two songs, and I never can figure out what to search for.

yeah i sat down and watched the credits in slow motion to get the song titles and artists, but the director did the music and a lot of the songs are credited to "the match band" which i'm pretty sure was created only for the movie.

i've been scavenging on the internet and still haven't had any luck :(

I'd LOVE to know if you have any luck with this; i've been searching too.
I like the ones already mentioned, and the track that's played as the drive down to the beach in the pickup.

Still no luck :(

I guess I'm giving up.

Just another chiming in wishing we all could find the music from this film. I noticed two waltzes that I really liked--one in the middle and then the one that plays at the end. The song at the end kinda sounded like Tim Buckley but I don't guess it was.

Very dissapointing.
