Where was this movie filmed?

I didn't see the beginning of the film, so perhaps they mentioned its location. Also, the filming location could very from the proposed fictional location in the story. The characters did mention Delaware being "not too far away", and I believe one of the characters was living in New Haven. It looks like the east coast, definitely, but I am not sure precisely where. Any ideas? It is utterly gorgeous and I would love to visit there!
