how does it compare....

I love the works of Charlie Kaufman, Eternal Sunshine, Being John Malkovich, and Adaptation are three of my favourite movies. Does Human Nature compare to their greatness?
P.S.If you don't like this or the other films it wouldn't be very helpful to answer would it?

I LOVE the 4 films, they are, in my opinion, great in different ways. Being JM it's a master piece, it deals with questions on identity in a way we dont see very often. Adaptation plays with metanarrative and deals with questions about creation, writing and the cinema. Eternal sunshine has its focus on consciousness, memory and what means to have memories. Now, human nature deals with civilization and society, with humor, strange and complex characters that interact in bizarre situations that, after you see them, realize they make more sense than real ones. For me it's like each movie develops on vital human questions, and the events happen in awkward atmospheres, what makes these movies different and great, the 4 of them.
So, definitively, i thein Human nature does compare and match the greatness of the other 3; even more,i think it's the best one of them.
Good luck

It's been a while since I watched the movie, but I sought it out specifically because of how much I enjoyed the other movies Kaufman had produced and written.

It's not quite on the level as the movies that followed it, but judging by how much you like the three titles you mentioned there's no doubt in my mind that you'll come away enjoying Human Nature.

On its own it's an okay movie, but if you're looking for that Kaufman feel I don't think you'll find it here.
