Anyone else think that(Spoilers)

Killing off Van Helsing halfway through the movie was a big mistake? He stayed alive since the 19th century to find a way to kill Dracula once and for all, only for Dracula to kill him.Quite a stupid decision if you ask me.

Can you kill it
I belive something can
A monster
No..A God

It did raise the stakes for Simon and Mary...Now the only guy who could handle Dracula is dead. I just think the scene was too fast, every other death takes longer...Van Helsing's should have been a bigger deal.

I suppose. But then again Simon (Miller) took more punishment than the Terminator could have handled, and still walked away relatively unscathed.

When dealing with movies of this sort, all pretense of reality must be subsumed to the wills of the director, screenwriter, and producer.

How does it go? "Abandon all hope ye who enter here?"

Make that "Abandon all reality ye who enter here."
