Which Cirques do you think are the best?

I introduced a good friend of mine to Cirque du Soleil with clips of "Varekai" on DVD. We've decided to have a get together soon in tribute of Cirque du Soleil and watch a bunch of them. We have Varekai and Corteo on DVD, but I have'nt really been exposed to any others. So, any suggestions?

dralion would have to be the best, its the first one i saw and still my fav. the only one i have seen live is quidam and it was amazing. i would really recommend those 2. i have seen many others but to me i just have not found any to come close to dralion and quidam.

Really?
I just rented Quidam, and I didn't even bother finishin it. Even Olga's performance was lacking excitement.

Well the only things I watch in Quidam are the clown acts (hula hoop, dart, dancing with coat hanger), lol. But usually the first Cirque du Soleil you watch is the one you like the most. The first show I saw on DVD was Alegria and it still remains my favorite Cirque du Soleil show to this day. =P

I happen to adore La Nouba. I saw it at its permanent location in Downtown Disney, and it was phenomenal.

The first cirque show I saw was dralion and personally I did not enjoy it as much as the others.

I have seen Dralion, Varekai, La Nouba and Corteo live.
I think I saw Quidam on TV.

As soon as I saw Corteo it became my favorite by far. It has very exciting acts and also is very funny. Plus it is helpful that unlike in some of the other shows it has an easy to follow plot.

La Nouba was also very good. They have more room to try things since they do not have to rebuild their stage everytime they perform.

today we saw 'quidam' live. it was totally spectacular.

the only other cirque du soleil that i have seen was in november or december of last year when our local pbs station was doing their fund drive and showed 'flowers of the desert' practically all day long.

needless to say, after today's show i am a cirque du soleil fan.

i have wanted to see them for many years and today that dream was realized.
