Cheaper Prices for USA Viewers?

I have been on the ezydvd and bigw websites just today and they want $44+ for copies of one season of stingers!! What's the deal?? In some of these messages it is indicated that they are as low as $19.99 for seasons 1-4 or 1-6. I have an all region dvd player (less than $100) online and have more than paid for it by ordering various region dvds so I can watch shows from other countries. Help!!
