According to amazon.com this movie will be out on DVD on July 26th 2005. I would appreciate comments from anyone who has seen this movie - should I buy this on DVD or save my money?

You can already get this on DVD (with German and English soundtracks). Take a look at:

Oh, certainly, not really great art or anything that won't be forgotten in film history.

BUT I ACTUALLY THOUGHT IT WAS A LOT OF FUN!

It's really just like a charicature. You shouldn't take it seriously.

I thought it was a lot of fun, too. Hardly great art - but it doesn't pretend to be, either. Once in a while we just need a good laugh!
