The Worst Line of The Worst Movie

I believe it goes:

"You're a mole! And I'm not talking about the thing on Cindy Crawfords face"
AWFUL

you OK?

"A man who dosen't spend time with his family, can never be a real man" Don Vito Corleone

ahhhh cut it some slack. I thought this was a cool movie, and that quote certainly wans't the WORST thing ever said in a movie.

reply

I also thought this a cool movie, cute in its own way, as for the line about Cindy Crawford's mole, yep not the most clever thing to say, but thats the point, they are portraying country folk, i thought it was quirky, but cute.

reply

It is exactly what someone from Arkansas would say though... trust me.

reply

did you say cool movie or good movie?

reply

I am, "country folk", and that was a damn stupid line. I thought the movie was okay. But I wouldn't pay to watch it.

reply

Awful movie, I agree.

I didn't care much for it, either. There were too many bad lines in the movie. Bladerunner, are you from Arkansas?

In a movie where they portray country people not to be the smartest on the planet, I am sure, anyone from these regions would not be thrilled by this movie.

But see on the other side. Although portrayed not smart, they are also portrayed innocent, and that is what is missing from city people. Compare between these couples and "Sex and the City". The 4 girls are smart, but their friendship could never survive to a betrayal.

Every Country, has it's own country people. I am from Portugal, and we have several different country folks on such a small Country. Yes, we make jokes about them all, but in the very end... those are the happier persons.

Here, we actually have a music that goes by:

"put the car,take the car,
at the hour I wish,
from the neibour garage, what sweetness of a woman...
bla bla bla...

eveything sexual conoted. It's hilarious, and it's top of the sales.
Country folk love this stuff. There are more similar stupid songs, but like I said, it's only innocence, if we all had it, maybe we could enjoy more.

It maybe me remind when they were all singing in the car. I am sure those where childish songs has well. :)

See the movie, and enjoy the gags, they are nice. Charlize Theron... is awesome in every rôle she makes.

Best regards, to all country folk out there! If I was in my country house last weekend I could have seen it covered in snow... the last time it happened was 52 years ago. I am sure I will never see it in my lifetime, and I am young.

reply

I agree, espcially with that:" Charlize Theron... is awesome in every rôle she makes"
Yeah she is. she can do any role in a perfect way.
she can do any role,(Comedey,Drama,Action...)that's amazing becasue I don't know a lot of actresses who can do any role.

reply

Well Billy Bob and Patrick are "country boys" and if they can poke fun at themselves maybe you can too?

reply

Amen.

Me, my family, my friends and coworkers are all from the country, and this is how we act dammit. I, and everyone I have loaned my dvd to, have loved this flick. Its funny, it doesn't speak down to us. It has a sense of whimsy, sure, but its true to life in many, many ways. I felt like I know these people.

By the way, anyone who likes this should check out "Daddy and Them".

"Compare between these couples and "Sex and the City"."

Why Sex and the City? Oh, I see, because it's a gerrymandered example that supports your dubious theory that Redneck = Innocent = Happy. You not only confuse "innocence" with "stupidity" by vaguely referencing hicks' taste in immature music overproduced to the point of being unartistic, but you also fail to provide any evidence of rural people being 'happier' other than "Hey, I like snow."

As for southern innocence, why not compare one of these movies to a movie based in an urban area (Sex and the City doesn't count, it's a TV show):

Monter's Ball
U-Turn
Natural Born Killers
Red Rock West
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

A small list of examples of southern movies without innocence. You're a dolt.
