I know this story seemed really over the top, but the two couples actually reminded me of characters I have known living many years in the South and Southwest U.S., including the accents. It isn't as unbelievable as you might think.

shareI like movies about old-fashioned country folks – it's like a blast from the past, on into the 70s, 80s, and 90s! But, I certainly could do without all the cursing. Especially since Southerners are pretty good about making up their own phrases that don't involve four letter words, but get the same point across.
If you want real southern talk – watch the Beverly hillbillies or petticoat Junction. And if it isn't real, it should be!
