I love this movie.

One of the things about this film is that it is impossible to summarize without writing in pages. And while viewing it, I had no idea where it was going or how it was going to end. For those who might be scared away by such a description, this is a film that is never the less, very easy to follow, so sit back and enjoy.

I watched it last night for the first time and thought that it was great.
Every actor was superb.

My mother bought the DVD on a whim years ago, after watching it once, its now one of my 'secret' favorite movies :)

Don't let it be a secret :)

lol, well I doubt some of my other male friends would enjoy the fact I like it :)
But nevertheless, I had no idea jonathan pryce could sing, he was terrific. I only wish I had the soundtrack of the movie.

But don't let others make you feel bad about what you like or don't like. :)

Did you check on amazon for the soundtrack ? (I didn't)

reply

I've looked around a little bit, plus I've looked over all the other soundtrack related threads here on the board and it seems no one can find it. So the only way I suppose is record the bits and pieces of him singing from the movie itself.

Pryce, I thought was primarily a singer. He won the award for Best Actor in a musical in 1991.
He was in a controversial role in Miss Saigon as a non Asian.

It's absolutely charming. Just charming. We love it.

Odd I didn't ever notice it (probably for a romance tag), but 30 minutes in, I am really enjoying it. So far, it kind of reminds me of a few other films. Will update later.

Was decent. Kathy bates played her role well enough. And Julie Andrews (in her small role), I don't know why, had me laughing my ass off. Also, I was glad to see Beth Littleford in something other than crappy cheese commercials (even though this movie predates those).

Jonathan Pryce played Juan Paron in Evita and SANG throughout the entire film. Of course he can sing!
