A special film
Funny, charming, sweet and unforgivably overlooked. Very few movies make me feel so good. The dialogue alone...priceless! Kathy Bates is a treasure.

I love this film too. I discovered it randomly in a video store years ago under "new releases". I was really in the mood for a Kathy Bates film and decided to rent it. I watched it three times in a row and fell in love with the film. Now I watch it regularly as it makes me feel good.
Funny too, when I first watched the film 3x...I told myself if I ever meet Kathy Bates I am going to spew my love of the film to her. Well not three weeks later, I was at The Grove in Los Angeles and who walks past me? Kathy Bates. I stopped her and gushed about the film. She was so sweet and it was a cool moment in life. I felt it was meant to be.
That is so nice! I love Kathy Bates, too. She had a small part in a film call 'White Palace', with Susan Sarandon and James Spader. A tiny part, but memorable. She shined like the star she is. Don't get me started on Dolores Claiborne. :*)
