My only complaint about this game was that it should've had a multiplayer. This was a great game with Maps that were fun and interesting to explore. Turok Seeds of Evil and the other sequels weren't very good and took forever to get through.

I was shocked by the bad design of the game. I played the first Turok briefly afterwards to compare... and it (shock horror)... has better graphics.

The first 2 were great in their own ways, but Turok 3 felt like an unfinished beta that should have never been released.

I thought Turok Evolution had some good parts. Became weak towards the end. But the beginning jungle sections felt more like the turok of old.
I'm not sure about the new Turok on the PS3. I know its an entirely different publisher now as acclaim went bankrupt last year.
It looks like a bit of a reinvention, hopefully it retains its distinct feel and doesn't become too much of a halo clone.
I played a game called Prey recently and it is way too similar to Turok.
Okay, I just bought Turok 3 and got through playing it (after the last time I played it, which was 8 or 9 years ago) and you're so right. It sucks. Acclaim did not put any effort on to this. I take back what I said about it being an okay game.

TUROK [FOR XBOX360].....Ive played the demo ....the graphics are very good especially the dinos [awesome ] but the game itself seems pretty average ...nothing we havent seen before

I've only played Turok 1 and 2. I thought T1 was more fun and even had better graphics. T2 had better music and more gore.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil actually felt like a game, it actually had a storyline, a plot. You were told what's going on, what's happen, where to go, and what to do. The soundtrack was very much improved, the Lost Land was given a history, the enemies were a lot tougher as well, like the last boss, and there were also two different endings you could get.... none of this was found in the first game.
