The Women who was telling the Story to the kids is that April Ryan?

She goes by the name Lady Alvane, but there's lots of evidence pointing to her being April (SPOILERS, naturally):

+ When April escapes through the "mystery" door, she winds up in that place with Lady Alvane who knows quite a bit about her.

+ When April left Alvane, she made a statement along the lines of, "I dunno who she was, but somehow I felt I could trust her."

+ In the Epilogue, Crow shows up.

+ If you play Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, there's another hint.

I just got Dreamfall on Xboxlive so im Excited to to play the Sequel!I really loved the first one.Yeah that is def one of the reasons i think that is April Ryan is because of the Crow in the end and the Crow is old as well,But someone told me that Ragnor say's that it is Complicated to explain so i hope when they finally do the Third Sequel that everything will be explained.I hear that their is alot of unanswered question in Dreamfall? And i know that Ragnar said that their will be a Sequel after he is done with other projects and it will be online!I think he means off of Xboxlive and PSn!It better not be an MMO.

Well, Dreamfall isn't a sequel. It takes place in the same world(s), and features some of the same characters, but it's not a continuation of Longest Journey's story (it actually takes place ten years after Longest Journey). It has its own seperate story arc.

HOWEVER, Ragnar has said there will eventually be a Longest Journey 2 which, presumably, will fill in the gaps between the 10 year span of TLJ and Dreamfall. No clue when this will happen.

There will also be a Dreamfall 2 (aka, Dreamfall Chronicles), which will be sold online in episode format. So, you won't actually be playing it online. As of his last blog entry, when he finishes with The Secret World, then he'll start work on Dreamfall 2.
