Lol @ everyone screwing up the 13 year difference

I just read in one comment, "even if they got back together, she would be too old to have kids" - Are you serious???

Jack is 36 and Kate is 34 in both scenarios and it happens in the same year, in the glimpse life Annie is 6 (IRL - possibly even younger portrayal in the film ((for all characters))) and the son had just been born.

So when they get back together it would be nothing for them to pop out a couple kids, even 6 years apart.

I agree! But... Would they even be the same kids? That's the question.

I really enjoyed this movie. Nicolas Cage was awesome (and all the supporting cast).

Yes!!

Annie was 4.

reply

Seriously. I had a baby when I was 34.

My dad had me at 43 and my mom was 37... I'm pretty sure my mom didn't hit menopause till I was 20. Heck now that I think about it I'm pretty sure they had a pregnancy scare after a trip they took when I was 17. I didn't understand it at the time but it makes sense now

Sure, they could have kids but they wont. Priorities change from 20s to 30s. At the end they are both single, successful and happy. Popping out a few kids ain't gonna happen. The kids will never exist.
