William Forsythe

What's the point behind his cameo in the bar. He doesn't turn up anywhere else, does he? So...why did he bother?

I noticed Forsythe too. There was no close-up, but I'm dead certain it was him. I'll bet he was supposed to jump into the conversation b.t. Reynolds and O'Connell at some point, but his scene was left on the cutting room floor. So I'm surprised they even left his background appearance in if that's the case.

In the credits, there is a listing for "Oliver Shaw. . . .Old Barfly". This movie is the only credit under this name. It is probably an alias for William Forsythe.
