calling all film buffs!! can u help

This film skipped theatres and was poorly advertised on video (at least in Canada and the US, i can only assume the same goes for the UK). It largely spread by word out mouth and i think the production company really made a mistake in not trying to market it to the masses. It could easily have provided the break for Ryan Reynolds that "Van Wilder" did a year later (Yes yes i know he was really great in that "Two guys, a girl and a pizza place" tv show, but Van Wilder paved his way to make it as a "movie star" and i think that buying the cow should have started him on that path a bit sooner).

Also, if they did call it "Why buy the cow when the milk is free" in the UK, the title is too long and lacking of all that may be considered catchy sooooooo they're dumb

hey adtheizzo, im also from the UK and i was wandering when it was shown on SKY because ive allways wanted to see this film but nether have.
