Fred Willard.

I watch this film over and over, just to listen to Fred Willard make his remarks. He cracks me up so much. He is so funny in all the Christopher Guest movies he has done, but this one is extra delicious. He makes me laugh out loud.
Here's one, he is asking his dog show co-host, who is very patient with him:
"Let me ask you something....do all dogs bark the same, no matter which country they're from? "

He's the best! I love him! I'm watching the movie now and laugh every time his character is on screen.

Loved him since his "Fernwood/America Tonight" days. The whole 'Philadelphia/Mayflower' scene, and when he said the dog went after the (portly) dog-show judge 'like she was made outta ham'...just slay me.

He was hilarious, definitely the "best in show" (lol)!

"Let me ask you something, how much do you think I can bench press?"

250?

I think if they had announcers like him at real dog shows, more people would watch! Asking about dressing a dog in a Sherlock Holmes outfit was perfect, and I must admit I have thought the same thing lol

So many legends here, but he definitely does stand out, dishing out non-stop comedy gold!
if anything has commentary like this, then it surely becomes much more watchable - even if it wasn't to begin with ... ;)
[JHC himself proves that alongside EB in a similar role within the Pitch Perfect films]

He was easily the best guy in the movie.

I bet you wish your nose was a dick so you could *beep* butts.

The entire cast of Best in Show are terrific but Fred Willard runs away with the film. One can argue that he has the best lines but it's all in the delivery and timing - he knocks this out of the park.

And his exasperated co-commentator! "Yes, I remember you saying that last year"
