I was impressed by how masculine he looked in this movie. Rachael Leigh Cook and Claire Forlani must be eeny, teeny little things to make him look so big, relatively.

In movies, Ryan usually looks so petite and delicate. Luckily, less girly the older he gets. Now that he's over 30, maybe he'll start to thicken and look more rugged.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

Funny, I am just watching this - only partway in - and cannot believe how incredibly short/tiny Ryan appears in this movie. According to imdb he is 5'9", and I know heights are often exaggerated, but he appears to be no more than 5'2" - 5'4" and 120 pounds max in this film. Everyone else is taller/larger than he is. This may have just been done for effect, but it is very noticeable. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being short; it is just so pronounced so far I had comment on it.

Ryan has sort of fallen off the radar.

For a while now. The last film that could be construed as a hit was probably . . . what? . . . Lincoln Lawyer? And then he wasn't the star.

He did have Shooter, which I believe was somewhat popular.

I do like him. Way of the Gun will always be one of my favorite movies and I liked Antitrust a lot when I was younger as well.

If you look at his most recent projects as well as what he has upcoming, it appears that he is now content to just do TV and star in straight-to-video movies.

I seem to remember reading, years ago, that the Phillippe/Witherspoon break-up was at least partially caused by his inability to accept that Reese became a big star and he never quite got there. At least he still gets regular work, but yeah... the last thing I saw him in was, I think, The Lincoln Lawyer a decade ago.

He's still hot as hell and fun to follow on Instagram. :)
