Very good.

This was the first film i reviewed on my movie website. It's an unappreciated, underrated forgotten Cine. A lot of people have not even heard of it. The storyline is relevant to 2016 due to technology always being around and always advancing.

Has a couple of surprising plot-twists.

This movie is excellent, and I enjoyed it. I usually rewatch it every few years. Plenty of the social + technology aspects we see in this movie are relevant today, live streaming video from just about any medium, a company that still owns 90% of the operating environment on PC's (Microsoft), and a Department of Justice that may be paid to ignore... stuff.. maybe.

Good movie, and excellent soundtrack, either way. Tim Robbins acting is brilliant here, just like Arlington Road.

Agreed. Good to find another Antitrust fan. I enjoyed this movie thoroughly when I was younger and have watched it several times. Movies like Antitrust and Hackers were a big part of me getting interested in computers in my late teens and early 20s.

This was also the movie that put Ryan Phillipe, Claire Forlani and Rachel Leigh Cook on the map for me. (Well, in Phillipe's case it was really Antitrust and Way of the Gun.)

I'll also point out that the depiction of computers, hacking etc in Antitrust is one of the most realistic I've ever seen.

But what's probably most interesting about watching Antitrust today is how it's a snapshot of the tech industry at the time: The Internet was still fairly new in terms of going mainstream, everyone was excited about its possibilities, dotcom companies were springing up everywhere, and the tech bubble was rapidly expanding.

I was very excited myself about all this. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm for technology has largely waned at this point.
