I agree it this show is so awesome. Sad that shows these days don't have the challenging mysteries and writting like this series. I love the animation too. Infact it seems like it was intended for teens with come cases involving cheating lovers and some involving things that children might not understand.
If it comes on DVD I'd buy it but that's allready obvious from my comments above.
Only some of the episodes are available on DVD. We do not know if all of them will eventually be released.

shareI'm glad you guys liked the series. It was to be 'just another Dic series' from the outset but we busted our collective butts to make it at least worthy of watching. The execs finally got on board when they saw the potential for a hit and bumped the budget to allow for the partial CG. The schedule was insane but I was proud of the results - we got the emmy nomination and it continued in re-runs for several years.
As noted, the murders and violence from the original works had to be modified for BS&P approval, but we did get to introduce nanotechnology, cryogenics, and holograms to Holmes!
As to the full set coming to DVD, it probably depends on how that first compilation sells.

I'd just like to say you and the other members of the crew did a terrific job on the series. I think that the series was awesome. It had really good mysteries and really nice art. So if you see the staff tell them it was a job well done.
shareWell since so many years have passed since this comment... I'm guessing it didn't sell well enough for a full set to be released :(
