After reading wikipedia I still can't believe that piece of crap show Gobots was the reason this show didn't last long. I think if this show had been on longer it would have been up there with Voltron and Transformers.

shareI don't know for sure why it ended but I do know that down in Texas where I live, everyone else was watching Muppet Babies, which was on at the same time on a different channel. I recall having a sleepover at my house with about 5 other kids. They all watched Muppet Babies while I watched the Orbots in the other room. Also, Voltron was pretty big at the time, and for some reason, it just clicked better with those into the whole super-bot phenomenon. I used to get in arguments with a kid at school about who would win in a fight between Might Orbots and Voltron. Sounds lame, but for a couple of 5th graders, we made pretty good arguments I think. :)
