Years ago I remember reading that several recognizable porn stars appeared on the show as contestants, always appearing in dates that involved hookups, nudity or some other kinky activity. Those contestants were usually billed as having jobs like model or something smiler, since it wasn't supposed to look like they were ringers. Like most reality TV a lot of the stuff was a setup.
