I, personally, LOVE this flick

Okay-- so it's a Saturday night... I'm grounded... so I rent this movie and watch it with my 13 year old brother. I had recently seen Blair Witch... which.. kind had me a little frightened ( I even watched it along in the dark) but nothing like the way this movie affected me. I was almost in tears, I was so scared. But I loved it... it was a fun kind of scary. My brother thought it was dumb and made fun of me for being so scared...but I don't know how it didn't even phase him. All in all... the movie is well made, very believable, and entertaining to watch. YES- it's very low budget ,YES- it has slow parts ( but it isn't such a big deal because once stuff gets going its quick and jumpy and you don't mind the in-between), and YES it may seem like a rip off of Blair Witch Project. So what? Watch this movie in a good mood with an open mind, and see what you think. It's worth a shot... make sure you have something to hold onto tho... just incase ;-)

I watched it recently and i hardly could sleep that night,i am 23 years old and i don´t live alone, but anyway the night that i watched that movie i was so scared that i didn´t dare to cross the living room of my house at 3:00am to drink a glass of water. The lights were switched off and my family sleeping, and i couldn´t forget certain images of the movie, like the atic, the final scene when Charles touchs Madison with his strange hand..that was too much, the atmosphere of mystery and darkness, that movie was really creepy, and when i was crossing the living room in the dark i remembered those images and Gosh..:D.And the funny thing is,that i thought it was a real documentary, because I remember i switched on the tv,and i watched several movies and progammes,i found this supposed documentary about ghosts and it hooked me.In a certain point of the movie I felt it didn´t seem a real documentary,it seemed a movie, similar to Blair Witch Project. Then when i read the end titles and i saw the name of actors i felt stupid¡ I thought "Gosh,i was scared like a child thinking about that was real, and it is just a movie¡¡".
Now i laught at it,but that night i was really scared :)

I honestly cannot understand how anyone can like this film.

My main problem with it, other than the terrible acting, is the way it presents itself. Lets not be silly, its ripping off Blair Witch (or to be more precise, Cannibal Holocaust/Last Broadcast), but, although I really didnt think Blair Witch was that good, at least its visual style, camerawork and editting made sense.

In this film there are countless shots which would really not have been filmed by the people inside the house. These shots are those which would have sat perfectly in a normal film attempting "realism", however their overall aesthetic was that of a "realist" technique. And so it was either a poorly filmed, terrible hollywood film, or a non-understanding attempt to be different and become more realistic. Either way, not good.

I very much enjoyed Last Broadcast, very interesting and intriguing film.

I think this movie was pretty fantastic, but it goes both ways. I found when I watched it with other people it was the funniest thing ever, and great for a laugh. But when watching it alone, it was DAMN scary.
