this movie was stupid

I bought this movie over ebay, because rupert graves was in it, and i couldn't rent it in the states. but this movie was stupid! the egyptian guy wasn't very good, and the plot was kinda ridiculous. It was bizarre when he married the old blind lady (despite his reasoning to stay in England)

wow...i don't even remember posting this thread.

i am willing to recant my statement about the film. i honestly don't remember it all that well, but i am willing to say that it was a quirky film from what i remember and that maybe it might take a second viewing to change my mind.

as to rafter-man:

i love how you make assumptions about me simply because i'm american. because i'm american, i MUST only watch action flicks with bruce willis and that anything contrary to it must be way over my head. if you look at my posting history, i post many things on rupert graves, james wilby and maurice (for it is my all time favorite movie...) and yes, give or take some stupid posts about my hatred for american airheads like jessica simpson, paris hilton, etc. etc.

because this isn't one at the top of my list of rupert movies, don't belittle my taste or intelligence. i watched quite a few british movies and period pieces in my time and because i don't like a certain british film for whatever reason, it's not because i'm a dumb american who can't grasp sophisticated british humor.

thank you.

ps-oh, and i do live in new york, btw...

The narrative was quite inconstant, shifting from one situation to another at a rapid rate. At times it felt like watching different films.
