The scene that would've hurt the most is the one they didn't even show..

I realized something after watching it on TV this past Sunday... Although the ending is unbelievabily sad, I think the part that hurt the most is the part that they didn't even show in the movie, read on....

When they go to the courthouse and get married, they should have actually showed this... The "Til' death do us part" bit. Man, could you imagine what kind of emotional impact those words must have had on the both of them?? Jesus Christ... I can't imagine how I would feel if I were in Rob's shoes at that point.

I thought they already gave Rob a blow by having his mother die a week before he met Ann, the woman who he would fall for and marry. Then to have her die also. Too much.
