Devistatingly costly maneuver at the end *** SPOILERS ***

By burning down Kingdom Come, Dillon greatly increased the cost of building the new town. He didn't just burn down buildings that were about to be abandoned, he was torching the contents as well. Certainly as new buildings were being completed in Lisoa, the residents would have moved their belongings and valuable furnishings. They would probably have salvaged windows and moldings, and even wallboards and floorboards. It would have taken years for the town to accumulate those materials, and now they would be starting all over again.

Why would he care? He didn't want anything to do with it anymore.
