Such a great film

I absolutely loved this film, I thought it was so cute and sweet. The acting was great and you could really relate to the characters, they were very real, the type of people you would meet in any small town. Ian Hart and Sean McGinley truly stole the show for me. I had never seen Sean McGinley in a leading role before, I have only seen him in Braveheart and The Butcher Boy, yet his expressive eyes and his boyish face really makes one feel a connection with his character and his predicament. Also Sean McDonagh's character is so sweet, one cannot help but fall in love with him. All I can say is, if anyone out there is looking for a light, fun comedy this is definitely one to consider. One small thing though....why go to Miami to find attractive girls, there are plenty of us right here in Ireland :-) (hehe)

Great movie. It brings a lot of memories to me from a very strange journey. 14 hours in a bus...the first movie shown was this, followed by Harry Potter 1, both of them with Ian Hart. Funny.

I loved the film too. Made me wish that I lived in just such a town with just such people. I wonder if somewhere like that truly exists?

A gem of a film. It doesn't hit you over the head with its sweetness, it sort of sneaks in and settles and you realize just how much you're enjoying it with some really good laughs here and there and a little bit of the misty eyes now and then too. Great low key film.

This is probably years late, but to answer your question, seen as I live in the place it was filmed (my granda even made a cameo) The place is just like that in real life. its lovely here.

Agreed. This is the sort of nice little romantic film I wouldn't mind seeing more of.
