Guys, this is the guy that did that incredible "mockumentary" called Man of the Year, which I loved. He's obviously very creative and somewhat talented (not to mention a former HUNK and Playgirl model!). What has he been doing? Has anyone been keeping up with him. He didn't look so go good on the DVD Deleted Scenes!

It's me, Dirk Shafer. Thanks for asking where I been... Been going through hundreds of rejections, turn around projects and basically the Hollywood *beep* trying to get another project going. It's such a weird business based so much on luck and timing and of course $$. I think because my films were a little on the edgy and certainly gay side, they did me no favors in terms of getting commercial work financed. I like to tell new and original stories that are personal to me and those are like pushing a Buick up a hill. I have just finished a new script, a completely fresh take on a romantic edgy comedy ala Eternal Sunshine. Wish me luck with it. And you can see updated pics of me in my bio on here, I have been finding great rewards working one on one with private clients, training and teaching Pilates (physical therapy and weight training) and helping people with injuries live and work with their bodies.
