Question about Dylan's Birthday party...***Spoilers** *********

I bought the DVD for one reason only - I'm collecting the works of one of the actors involved (Francis Magee, who plays the charismatic and cryptic taxi driver Carmac) *lol*

But, the truth be told, I'm not 100% sure who the electrocuted man was either, but I think (only think, mind you) that he might have been the mayor or some official who perhaps could not be made to hear "The Calling". But the assemblage were cheering because all of them had heard Dylan's call and on some level knew exactly what the kid was - i.e. the son of the devil. They were apparently just overjoyed to see at first-hand a demonstration of his evil powers.

As for Marc and Elisabeth's child (Sam, was it?), I think that was the fact that maybe the devils true power couldn't come through his newborn son unless innocent blood was shed at the correct time and in the correct manner - it seems that perhaps sacrifice is essential when it comes to the rebirth of the Antichrist?

The fat, naked guy was the big boss of the network, where Marc and Elizabeth worked, I guess. I'm not sure either, for I missed some parts of this flick while having several little naps...
