Dog

Once again, the producers introduce a lovely golden retriever, and the dog winds up being abused and put to death by the bad guy. Why do the producers have to do this? Not only the dog was killed, but the kid's hamster was impaled! Disgusting!

reply

That was a guinea pig, not a hamster.

And guinea pigs are evil.

I learned a long time ago that most animals in thrillers and horror films will die a horrible death. I agree that it's disgusting, and disturbing, too.

Kind cute animals and devil children do not mix well together.

The scary clown doll is hiding under my bed.

It's a MOVIE. No animals were harmed in the making of the MOVIE. And the whole point of the bad guys killing or torturing the animals in the MOVIE was to show how despicable they (the bad guys) were.
You know what I find actually disturbing? Watching "America's Funniest Home Videos" and being subjected to all those men/boys getting hit in the groin (for real) and people laughing at that. How is that funny?
