Straight to video movie?

I have read some threads about how cool would it be to make a live movie to maybe put a close on the story line (finding his father and destroying the MMs).

But it would be highly unrealistic for what us fans are asking. Not to mention the cost it would take to produce such movie that would require a lot of CGI etc...

How about suggesting to some studio (somehow get a petition going) about making a good ole animated 70 minute movie to wrap this series up?

I mean I saw the DCU cult following getting a lot of movies produced and sold directly to video (Bruce Timm, Andrea Romano, etc...crew)...

Maybe someone who was/is still a fan and who has the connections in the business can show how much JATWW have a small but strong fan base. And hence produce the movie for us?
