Only one Season?

It's pretty surprising that this show and many others like it only lasted one season considering how great they were. I used to watch this stuff whenever possible as a kid and loved it.

me too, this was one of my favourite series as a kid and I hope some day they make the movie(they had already prepared a movie they even had the script http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jayce_and_the_Wheeled_Warriors) and provide closure to the story. Hope is the last thing to loose...

You have to remember that a syndicated "season" had 65 episodes. Only mega-popular shows like He-Man usually got more than the 65 episodes.

I never even knew there were toys available for this show. I saw some online and they looked pretty cool. What where they like?

standard for the 'half hour toy commercials" was one 65 episode production order
-- 65 is 5 episodes a week for 13 weeks aka 1/4 of the year... 9which is really a long stretch for the attention span of their target audience
-- and if I remember some series padded it out by stopping at 20 episodes (4 weeks) then start over at the beginning until they hit 'episode 40' then starting over until episode 60 and finally running the series in it's entirety giving them almost 9 months of air time

If I recall Disney does the '65 and done' with their current crop of Kid-coms but the current TV schedule paces them out at an episode a week broken into 'seasons' as Disney needs original content
