Frank Miller
Does anyone know what Frank Millers involvement in this show was? Did he write any of the scripts, or plot the general story outline? As a Miller fanatic I'd love to see this show regardless...bring on the DVD!

shareLong before it was a cartoon it was a Frank Miller comic book over at Dark Horse in the 90's.
shareThis show is a discrase to TV and Miller. It's sucks beyond believe...oh my god this show pissed me off. It's like half spongebob half cleopatra 2525 but then 10 x worse.
They don't teach us correct spelling in the Netherlands, the bastards.
Frank miller liked it
shareI think it was a great cartoon for the short time it was on the air. I love how fanboys are the first to complain about what was wrong about a show, especially when it's linked to a cult figure, like Frank Miller.
What I've read about the cartoon, Miller enjoyed it very much. I guess you don't get a better vote than his in the matter.
The animation was great, the design was every bit as good as the comics, and the corny/retro humor was a breath of fresh air in this modern anime crapfest that is daytime kids cartoons.
In an American daytime cartoon world of Poke-this and Digi-that, it was nice to see a show that stood on it's own.
Every bit as good as the Tick!
Be thankful your Mama died givin' birth, if she saw you today she'd die of shame!
I love 'Big Guy & Rust the Boy Robot'
shareActually Frank Miller was involved in this very closely.
shareIt was a retro-comic,it was mnt to be corny and outdated, anachronistic by purpose. The comic featred Big Guy fighting against a Godzilla like creature that turned Japanese into other monsters and so on.
First seeing this show (and I´m glad they didit in Germany)was a WTF moment, but it caught on realy fast.
It´s a strange world.
Let´s keep it that way.
This show rocked I remember watching it and Laughing my rectum off. There was one where Rusty re-wrote the last 2 or three rules and one was along the lines of kiss my tiny metal hole or something to that effect. Does anyone remember that episode, if so a little help please thanks.

Geez this was a great show!!! While they may of made a few changes from the comic book I thought it really captured the spirit of it. This cartoon stood above many others and the times and still today of this type of genre. I am still bummed that it ended so soon when crappier/lesser cartoons have continued on. But that the vast majority of the public would not know quality stuff if it kicked them in the ass!
shareFricken AAAA this was a great cartoon. So different than most of the crap at the time and now. A great mix of adventure, satire, and fun. Man it should of gone on longer. The good stuff never lasts in this world. Now where is the DVD set? ;)
sharei need to see this too!
