How was The Amanda Show filmed?

It seems like it's a live skit show preformed infront of an audience, but with acts like Penelope Taint, how are those preformed? Sorry if my question doesn't make much sense, I'm not sure how to explain what I'm asking.

Don't answer to Twinkle Toes, it's not manly!

Most of the sketches were done with a live audience. Some parts, however, were not: Moody's Point, the fake commercials, anything set outside or backstage, & any sketch where more than 1 Amanda character appears (one of the "Stranded" sketches, for example, had both Amber & Courtney in it) were shot without an audience.

The only thing I don't know for sure about are the monologues that involved Penelope being onstage. If I had to guess, though, I'd say the Amanda parts were shot with the audience, & the Penelope parts were not, then just edited in later.

It seems that the audience is just a bunch of paid spectators, just like in Courtroom Shows. In the end of most episodes there is a credit for some company that sponsored the audience.

Most of the scenes were not performed in front of a live audience and a laugh track was added later.
