Elijah - Did He Have Superpowers?

It's clear that the guy is very smart, but does he also have some form of telekinesis powers which would have aided in his schemes of causing horrible disasters to find the "unbreakable man"?

When he's in the comic book shop and the store clerk is rolling him out, Elijah keeps crashing into the shelves with a pretty steady force, but without the use of his legs or hands to use as momentum. It seemed like in that scene, it confirmed he had superpowers, but they didn't ever elaborate on the issue further.

How does it feel to be deconstructed?

reply

Elijah would grip a wheel to cause the chair pivot and crash into the aisle. Unfortunately no telekinesis

reply

They could call him Professor Malcolm X.

The flat-brimmed baseball cap is the modern-day dunce cap.

reply

No, he didn't have powers. He tells David that in comics you have two types of villains. One is a physical villain who fights with his body and one is a super genius, who used his brains to try to stop the hero. Mr. Glass is a super genius.

reply

No, he was the exact opposite of Dunn. You said out yourself, the clerk was rolling him out. Elijah just kept turning the chair.

Now we know: Superhuman intellect. ;)

convenient and believable retcon!

reply

Nah, Elijah was a con man.

The fact that he was still alive alluded to something else as well. In real life, babies born with his brittle-bone condition usually die at birth with less a degree than he supposedly had.
