does anybody think that if these two had swapped roles then the film would have been better

Danny Dyer is the better actor at the end of the day but when you look at danny latest flims he's all the same bloke need to move on a bit only a bit though!
When it was made,Nicholls had just left Eastenders,which is one of the UK`s most popular shows. He was the higher profile actor,but yeah Dyer is the better of the two.

sharethe thing is danny dyer played his role fantastically well. i don't think paul would have done aswell with it as danny however dyer would also have played charlie well. pual was given the role due to his profile but he didnt do a bad job of it.
sharei thoroughly enjoy this movie and i think that paul did a great job as charlie to tell the truth i cant imagine dyer as charlie even though i think he is a great actor. I dont see why people seem to not like this film

Not sating that I dislike the film I think its very good and enjoy all nick loves films but thought that danny dyer has played a similar character in the business and football factory and they are in my opinion better because dyer has the lead role

shareI think Paul Nicholls was excellent as Charlie. However I could definitely see Danny Dyer as Charlie as well. If this film was made in 1980 I could even see Phil Daniels as Charlie.
But overall I think this film is brilliant and everyone was fantastic in their roles.
