Original Release Date
IMDb lists this as from 1942 but the TCM website states the year as that of 1953.

Evidently this was part of a series of shorts on Nostradamus - see the "Connections" section. This film was re-titled, re-done, and repackaged for TV, perhaps. The copyright date on the title screen is indeed 1953. The MPAA number of 16656 also places it in 1953 as well. The "Release Dates" page doesn't give an original release date, but says this is a re-release.
