if anyone speaks italian and can understand the confrontation at the beginning between josie and katia- could you please translate it for me. i am curious to know what josie said to make katia threaten to strike her

katia going on about josie's faults and then she says 'your like this because of your mother all curses come from the mother' and then josie says 'is that why amas life turned out the way it did because of her mother?' thats basically the jist of it but not word for word

doesnt it mean something like
bye beautiful dear grandma?
ciao- bye
bella - beautiful
nonna - grandma
and di is just a guess. LOL.
she might say something like that in another scene but she does not in this scene
is thats what your saying you thought some of it means??
but youre translations are correct for those words

fratello - brother
sorella - sister
nonno - grandfather

di means "of" so I guess he said "bye beautiful (girl) of Grandma"

we got the book 2 read in english and u gotta read the book to understand the movie more. and all i new in italian was nonna and nonno b4hand...lol
