Original Maugli is by far the direction I would have loved Disney to go to. Every single character has it's own styling that shows it's features. Those who have seen it, will agree with me. Disney is drawing everything in the same manner.
If Soviets would have spent more money for their animation studios.. we might have three directions of the animation. Western, Japanese and Russian one.
