My favorite DDL performance
DDL has given some stellar performances but I always come back to this one being my favorite. He is so charismatic and likeable, yet ruthless and underhanded. He did such a great job balancing his character.
Yes it is one if his best and ehat makes it even better is the surprising approach he took, when i read all these accolades for this performance i was my mind set to check a thousand times The age of innocence abd the last of the Mohicans to latter earse that image of him so I could consentrate in his latter characters.
I expected a much creepier, sadistic, evil type of guy: someone like Edwin Epps or Amon Goeth thats the type of villain i imagined or if not this someone like heath ledger's joker.
I expected a much more in your face evil character someone who i might feel a bitt sorry for but ultimately hate or feel creeped out by DDL forever to not being able to see him as a good guy ever again but that was not the case and i was relifed with it.
