The Goth-girl Rules in this

Making a movie isn't an easy thing, because you don't know what it will look like or work like until it's been shot.
It's so true that "you don't know what you've got til it's gone," and in the case of The Convent, nobody could have known that the best character was the Gothgirl Monica, played by Megahn Perry (who is also in Mike Mendez's new film The Gravedancers). That character is the best thing about the movie, and while she's around, the whole film comes to life with her sarcastic, droll sense of humor. Sadly, she's "gone" way too soon! Why Megahn Perry never got her own TV show is beyond me! Anyway, I love The Convent because of her, and because I was raised catholic and I love the idea of nuns possessed by the devil. (those that premise could have been done better in The Convent). I also love the part where the beautiful Oakley Stevenson shotguns the nuns and the priest and sets them on fire. Sweet!

Totally agree with this post. Her humor made me enjoy this film alot more, especially how she interacts with the stoner kid. And the Dairy Queen comment haha priceless

She was a pretty likable character, the goth look really works on her too.

I was more focussed on Chaton Anderson's cleavage....
