The acting!!!
the content of this movie is real cool, but the acting kills it for me. It's real mediocre.

hm, well the acting wasent HORRIBLE, but it certainly was not good. I think it had more to do with both the main actors being tooootally wrong for that movie. Plus the movie itself could've been a really neat idea, but was executed terribly. As a huge j.d. salindger fan it caught my eye on tv, but unfortuantly was dissapointed. I hate to compare it, but for a fantastic holden like boy angst in new york city movie i would just watch Igby Goes Down.
