I am watching the Black Panther episode

And its making me hate black people. Just what they are complaining about, their ideas, and how they act. They are calling white people "devils", and saying how much they hate white people. It is severly annoying and I hate the people Louis talked to.

Doin what I can with what I got

Black nationalism is, in a way, a retaliation to white nationalism. That doesn't make it right, but you can understand why they hold the beliefs that they do.

That's good. I like to viddy the old films now and again.

It is hilarious when these morons preach hatred against whites but then try and speak like stereotype educated upper class whites. Of course being idiots it all comes out half coherent.

The black hate groups are all a bunch of clowns. Con men leading morons. Israelites were my favorites. Someone should tell them that Mexico, Central and South America have large populations of Caucasians.

In fairness, your reaction here isn't much better.

You'd said that the actions and attitudes or a few black people has made you feel hate for black people in general.

I would be very surprised if those black people had never met have a few really racist white people in their lives. Perhaps that's the source of their resentment and anger just like it seems to be yours.

In short, don't make the same mistake they have.

I'm 2 years late but...

Did you see the "Survivalists" episode where he goes to the Aryan Nation Church? If you have, you should hate white people too...

Slightly broad generalization..no?

The fact you 'hate' blacks due to this episode shows you are thinking the same as a lot of the blacks in the show...you are just the same.

Not all of them were that bad. However, yes there were a few that were overtly rasict and no matter what Louis asked...they kept turning it back to racism and past events. Black Vs white.

Just cos some black folk are smallmined fools like SOME of those shown in this episide, does not mean they all are.

Jesus died for our sins. As he's already dead...sin away.

Yeah well imagine how they felt during the 200 years of the reverse situation. I think this was most powerful message from this episode - though it isn't pleasant to hear them say these things, it shows what it feels like to be on the wrong end of racism.

Never let your sense of morals prevent you from doing what is right.

I hope the OP's first sentence in his post was not meant to be serious and just an attempt to start a flame war. He should ask himself how he would feel if his ancestors had been subjected to centuries of slavery and many members of his community are still marginalised as a result today.

What struck me about this episode is that most of the people he interviewed were actually quite civil towards him. The Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge (I think that was the sect) had some strange understandings of history but even as they gave Louis Theroux a lesson in history they didn't express any enmity towards him (even though he was pushing the boundaries as usual asking if Christopher Columbus and Abraham Lincoln were also black). Even Khalid Abdul Muhammad, who obviously never felt comfortable around him and even once made some disparaging remarks about his facial features, was not threatening towards him (unlike the Neo-Nazis in another episode when he hinted to them that he may have been Jewish). If anything the member of Al Sharpton's congregation who Louis Theroux interviewed in his own home, showed that he was one of the most tolerant and open-minded people Louis has interviewed.

When you watch the KKK episode, does it make you hate all white people?
