there is nothing worse than program your VCR so badly that it stops recording right before the movie end - thats exactly what I did with this movie.
(minor spoiler ahead)
Can someone pls. tell me how this movie ended ? I last saw the young guy coming back from the clinic and visiting Frederic...

Frederic tells Nicolas to show his commitment by kissing his feet. (Really) Nicolas is repelled and leaves but realizes that he is, in fact, still totally committed to Frederic. He returns, takes the samurai wide-bladed dagger we saw at the beginning of the film and goes looking for Frederic. He finds Frederic in a luxurious bath tub. Frederic looks up, see Nicolas, and smiles. End of movie.

and most possiblely is he killed him...I found that's not just a matter of taste but also a matter of EVERY ONE TEND TO BE BISEXUAL.
and what makes me lol is I learn it's Chinese translation title is When a man fall in love with another man..LOL.

Not quite the end of movie. The one scene after the tub sequence is Nicolas staring silently into space, looking desolate.
That, in combination with the many legal & psychological interview sequences and hints interspersed, says that Frederic pushed and wanted his protege/doppelganger to essentially help him commit suicide, but that Nicolas will be imprisoned for, and forever haunted by, the deed.
...and, to go one step further, Frederic's smile suggests his pleasure at being totally "in sync" with Nicolas and that his transformation of him is complete. The final shot of Nicholas in prison is haunting, the slow realization sinking in that not only is Frederic dead, but his own life is over as well.
