Mistakes About The Clothes They Were Wearing As Kids

Anybody notice the clothes that all the characters wear when they were kids at the beginning?? They aint fit the time of the movie. This movie dropped in 2001, so you can tell by the way older Q Tip is dressed that the movie is taking place in the present. Plus when little Elijah got arrested the date was October 5, 1992. Cuz you see the date when he was in police custody. But Elijah and has friends in the childhood portion of the movie were wearing stuff we wore back in the early 2000's. I was born in 89 so Im 17 sitting on 18. They had on stuff like Fubu and Mecca. And Q-Tip's best friend also had an Avirex jacket. EVERYBODY was rocking that in '01. They had Avirex forvever, but them model jackets was a 2000ish thing. I remember copping my red and black Avirex leather coat and flossing that in the hood. You was doing it if you showed up to school wit that jacket. Some of the characters in them scenes had on Ecko that wasnt even out in 92. Late 90's early 2000's, every niggga had they FUBU on, it was around long before then but thats when it got it popping and Elijah woulda went to the group home right around the time when Fubu was starting up. Fo us by us was bananas. I remember copping my first FUBU fits at Club Soda in Evergreen Plaza, that was the first designer clothes I ever bought. That was around the time Sean Jean just came out and Coogi sweaters were trynna come back. Before then me and my friends just wore whatever. Your kicks were more of a priority. I remember rocking the Nikes before I was even in 1st grade. Then I graduated to the Mikes (Jordans) prolly around third grade. Then as we got older we copped full fits. But alot of that stuff they was wearing aint fit for 92 cuz alotta them clothing lines werent big yet. It took alotta them while to get it popping. Anybody else notice that?
